More about us:

Mark and Annemarie Gasparini have been actively involved in music all their lives.

Mark has worked in music retail stores for over 3 decades and his area of expertise is sheet music and any instrument with a keyboard. Mark is always happy to offer advice and information where he can.

Mark plays the piano professionally for private and corporate functions and over the years has been a resident pianist for many of the top venues and hotels in Auckland. He is currently the long time pianist for the Northern Club. Mark also teaches piano and enjoys giving students the tools to develop improvisation skills.

Annemarie is a teacher of piano, singing and theory. She is the National Coordinator and Auckland & Northland Representative for Trinity College London.  Annemarie is also an active member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers NZ and is the District 1 representative on the National Council of the Institute. In her spare time she enjoys singing regularly as a choir member and as a soloist.

On a personal note...

We believe it is very beneficial for our young people to take part in the performing arts, and particularly in music.  It has been proven that learning a musical instrument considerably improves a student's numeracy and literacy skills . Studying music, both in terms of developing an appreciation, and being an active participant is an extremely productive way to enrich one's life.
